Why Manufacturing Takes Time
Updated On: Dec. 6, 2019

Many of you might wonder why the manufacture and delivery of your order takes so long. Some of you might even get annoyed when we take too long. But have you ever tried to understand why we take time? Well, this post will tell you all about the problems we as manufacturers face, and how, although we try our hardest, the manufacturing could get delayed. Steps followed during order manufacture - Here are the various steps taken to manufacture
your order. This will give you an idea of why it takes time.

Customer places the order and provides the design
this, the first stage, is where you come in. As the client, you need to provide us with your order, that is, the quantity needed, and the design which you want printed on your order.
Dye and cutting tools are prepared
based on your specifications, the cutting tools, which are used to cut the raw materials based on the sizes specified, and the dye tools, which are used to colour and print your logos.

Manufacturing begins
once all the tools are ready, the actual manufacturing process begins, which includes cutting, printing, folding, sticking, and finishing.
Delivery
once your order has been manufactured, it is delivered to your doorstep. This could be just one stop from the factory to your place, or it could mean transport from city to city, and then to your place.

Customers provide the design late
If the design is provided late, then it delays the entire process of making the dye tools and printing the logos. As printing is one of the first steps of the manufacturing process, a delay in design leads to a delay in the entire process.
Customers submit the design in incompatible formats
If the design is submitted in an incompatible format, we will need to ask you again for the right format. This involves to and fro mails, and excessive delay.

Payment is delayed
if the payment is delayed, our work will also be delayed, as we cannot start the manufacturing process without timely payment.
Dye Maker delays the process
if we are unable to get the required dye soon, the entire process gets delayed.

Issues at the manufacturing level
there can be various issues at the manufacturing level, like the printing isn’t coming out right, the image isn’t shaped properly, the colour isn’t as required, etc. All of this can lead to a delay in the manufacture and
hence, the delivery.
