Kullad

Kullad

At 3.50 Rupees, kullads are one of the most craved and famous packaging tools for tea. Made purely from earth, it is a safe and eco-friendly way of serving chai. Along with having great aesthetic value, kullads also impart a mesmerizing earthen aroma to the tea. It also keeps the tea hot for a long time, while not becoming too hot itself, allowing customers to hold and use the kullad easily. It does not get soggy, and so can be used to store tea for a long time. However, it is very difficult to use kullads for delivery purposes, as they can break easily.

Chai Flask

The disposable tea flasks are the upcoming mode of transport for tea. Made of 5 layers, it is a great insulator, keeping the tea hot for a long time. The innermost layer is certified to be BPA free, making it perfectly safe for storage of edibles. Cornstarch Cups

Cornstarch Cups

At 1.50 Rupees, these are eco-friendly, as they are biodegradable, and also help in keeping the tea hot for longer. However, they cannot be used for takeaway or delivery, as they can get soggy and leak after prolonged storage of the hot liquid.

Single-walled Paper Cups

These are ideal for serving small amounts of tea at small cafes and stores. They help in keeping the tea hot, however, they can get very hot themselves, making it difficult for customers to handle the cups. They can also get soggy faster than any of the other options as they have just one layer of paper. However, they are eco-friendly, and are efficient for small amounts of tea. They also come with lids. They are not suitable for takeaway or delivery.

Double-walled Paper Cups

These paper cups are thicker and sturdier than the single-walled cups, and hence can be used for storing tea for longer amounts of time without getting soggy. They can also keep the tea hotter for longer, and the cup does not get heated very soon, making it easier for customers to handle it. They also come with lids. However, they are not very suitable for delivery.

Ripple Cups

The Ripple cups have a corrugated sheet around the cup, making it easier to hold, as it provides greater grip and does not get heated too quickly, thus making it a better option than cornstarch or paper cups. They are also eco-friendly and also come with a lid to keep the beverage covered. However, they can get soggy with prolonged storage, and hence are not ideal for delivery.
